RESOLUTION OF THE FORT BRAGG CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING CONSTRUCTION SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH COLEMAN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING, INC. TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE 2021 WATER METER REPLACEMENT PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAME (AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,2,534,658; ACCOUNT NO. 651-6127-0731; WATER ENTERPRISE CAPITAL RESERVE FUND 651) WHEREAS, the Notice Inviting Bids for the 2021 Water Meter Replacement Project was released on December 2, 2021, and on January 7, 2022 the City received five (5) responsive bids; and WHEREAS, the City was awarded a 2020 CDBG grant in the amount of $2,644,365 for execution of this project, of which $2,863,283 is for construction; and WHEREAS, Coleman Environmental Engineering, Inc. was the lowest responsive bidder; and WHEREAS, adequate funding is available for this contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fort Bragg does hereby approve a Construction Services Agreement with Coleman Environmental Engineering, Inc. to remove and replace approximately 2,900 water meters and lids, and authorizes the City Manager to execute same (Amount Not to Exceed $2,534,658; Water Enterprise Capital Reserve Fund 651).
The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by Councilmember _______, seconded by Councilmember __________, and passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fort Bragg held on the 24th day January, 2022, by the following vote:
