Re: Request for Measure AA/AB funds
Dear Fort Bragg City Council,
Fort Bragg Unified School District is requesting $9300 of Measure AA/AB funds to purchase a Professional Infield Groomer/Renovator. The district maintains nine baseball and softball fields in the community. The fields are used by Middle School and High School students, Fort Bragg Girls Softball Association, Fort Bragg Little League, MCRPD adult softball leagues and the Special Olympics. Almost 1000 participants use the fields annually. Additionally, the infield groomer will be used on the Timberwolf Stadium track and the Redwood Field track. The groomer would decrease the time it takes to prepare the fields for events and make it easier to maintain the fields in the off season. The groomer will also increase the safety and playability of all the fields. If you have any questions regarding the groomer and its use, please feel free to contact me.
