RESOLUTION OF THE FORT BRAGG CITY COUNCIL APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH FORT BRAGG ELECTRIC FOR THE C.V. STARR COMMUNITY CENTER LIGHTING CONTROLLER WATT STOPPER UPGRADE PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT (AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $28,392.00; ACCOUNT NO. 810-4812-0751)
WHEREAS, the C.V. Starr Community Center must replace the Center’s lighting contoller watt stopper (“the Project”), as the current equipment is outdated and damaged; and WHEREAS, staff has determined that Fort Bragg Electric is competent to provide this service, and is considered a responsive bidder; and WHEREAS, staff has confirmed that Fort Bragg Electric has the proper license, experience and meets the necessary requirements to complete the Services; and WHEREAS, the Services are funded by the Capital Assets Fund for the needed C.V. Starr Center Lighting Controller Watt Stopper Upgrade Project, with appropriations included in the FY 2021/22 budget, Account No. 810-4812-0751; and WHEREAS, based on all the evidence presented, the City Council finds as follows:
The Fort Bragg Electric proposal, as a sought service provider, meets the requirements of the Project and is considered responsive.
Sufficient funds are available through the appropriations made in the Capital Assets Fund for the labor and materials to fully completed the C.V. Starr Center’s Lighting Controller Watt Stopper Upgrade Project.
Fort Bragg Electric has the proper licenses to complete the Project and based upon previous experience in completing similar projects, is a responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fort Bragg does hereby accept the proposal of Fort Bragg Electric as the only responsive bid, awarding the contract for the CV Starr Center’s Lighting Controller Watt Stopper Upgrade Project to Fort Bragg Electric and authorizes the City Manager to execute the same (Amount Not to Exceed $28,392.00; Account No. 810-4812-0751).
The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by Councilmember , seconded by Councilmember , and passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fort Bragg held on the 27th day of June, 2022, by the following vote:
