Honorable Council Members: I am writing about items 2 a and b closed session meeting.
I am writing to urge you to continue to fight the battle with Mendocino Railway by being as aggressive as possible in holding them responsible for following the same regulatory and legal guidelines as any other business. They are not a public utility and should not be unregulated in any manner regarding the headlands and pudding creed acreage they falsely took through eminent domain. I know it is hard to fight and spend money on litigation when our town has such limited resources , but this is so critical to our future as a community and the headlands which is a coastal gem that must be cleaned up and used to the best advantage of the entire community.
Just wanted to let you know you are supported in your efforts to fully litigate this issue by the community despite the negative lies spread by Mendocino Railway and its owners.
