Re: Impact Fee Nexus Study Agenda Item
Government's Audacious Greed ("G.A.G.") is a newly-formed group of concerned residents who are opposed to the City of Fort Bragg imposing these new fees on permits for development within Fort Bragg. We encourage the City Council to reject the recommendations to add additional fees for our police, fire department or the CV Starr Center to the already high costs of getting permits in Fort Bragg. Our fees are already high enough and the community is having trouble attracting growth and development as a result.

On one hand, we are excited that the water and sewer fees are coming down but instead of actually reducing the permit fees we will have to pay, the City Council is considering adding three new fees to make up the difference. What a shame! Instead of showing concern for the community in the form of reduced costs for local building, you are just trying to add new fees and make up the difference to almost exactly what we are currently paying for the existing fees.

Please stop the insanity and reject this money grab. No new fees! City of Fort Bragg
