Dear Council members
Everyday across my social media platforms I see and read of the horrors happening to the Palestinian peoples. Since Oct 7 over 30 thousand people have been killed, mostly women and children. Because of the Israeli siege the people of Gaza are starving, they are without food, water and medical care. Today on the news I read of a two month old baby's death caused by starvation. It is getting worse everyday. Today I saw a video of a 26yr old active duty Air Force man in uniform walk to the front of the Washington DC Israeli Consulate and light himself on fire.
So many of us are heartbroken and feeling very helpless. Please be our voice for an Immediate Lasting Ceasefire, a lifting of the siege and a release of all the hostages-that means the Palestinians also.
