Subject: Support for Professional Mountain Bike Event in Fort Bragg Dear Fort Bragg City Council Members,
I am writing to express my strong support for bringing a professionally managed mountain bike event to Fort Bragg. To echo other lodging properties, I believe this initiative would greatly benefit our community in several ways.
Firstly, our area is perfectly suited for creating a recurring, annual mountain bike event. We are blessed with excellent terrain that would provide an ideal setting for such a competition. Moreover, this type of event has the potential to attract visitors from our target market consumer base. These visitors are likely to become repeat visitors, adding greater long-term value to our tax revenue.
Secondly, hosting a mountain bike event can help mitigate the effects of seasonality in our local tourism industry. By strategically scheduling the event during off-peak times, we can attract visitors year-round, leading to more stable economic activity throughout the year. This approach would benefit local businesses and contribute to a more robust local economy.
In addition, I believe many businesses would help support the event with sponsorships and/or in-kind donations. I am certainly greatly interested in doing so.
Bringing a professionally managed mountain bike event to Fort Bragg represents a significant economic opportunity for our community. It would showcase our natural beauty, boost our local economy, and potentially establish Fort Bragg as a premier destination for mountain biking enthusiasts.
Thank you for your consideration of this proposal. I look forward to the possibility of Fort Bragg hosting such an exciting and beneficial event.
Sincerely,
Scott Schneider
