RESOLUTION OF THE FORT BRAGG CITY COUNCIL Approving Professional Services Agreement with Lumos & Associates in a Not to Exceed Amount of $80,000 FOR A Two Year TERM, to Provide On-Call Engineering & Surveying Services AND Authorizing City Manager to Execute Contract WHEREAS, on April 22, 2024, the City Council authorized the scope of work soliciting On-Call Engineering and Surveying Services over the next two years; and WHEREAS, on May 30, 2024, seven (7) timely proposals were received and evaluated by staff; and WHEREAS, several firms are highly qualified and available to perform the services, however, one firm Lumos & Associates was unanimously rated the highest during independent staff reviews based on the quality proposal submitted, the capabilities and resources of the firm, and the qualifications and experience of key individuals; and WHEREAS, Lumos & Associates is well qualified to assist city staff with tasks outlined in the scope of work at the hourly rates described in Exhibit A, through the two-year term for $40,000.00 per year; and WHEREAS, there is $40,000 budgeted for these activities in the FY 24/25 budget and there is $40,000 budgeted for these activities in the FY 25/26 budget; and WHEREAS, authorization of this contract is not subject to CEQA because it is not a project (§ 21065. PROJECT), any actions resulting from work performed under this contract in preparation for a project will be evaluated on an individual case basis; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fort Bragg does hereby approve the Professional Services Agreement Lumos & Associates and authorizes the City Manager to execute the same (Amount Not to Exceed $80,000.00).
