NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Fort Bragg City Council will conduct a public hearing on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 6:00 PM or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard at Town Hall, at the corner of Main and Laurel Streets (363 North Main Street), Fort Bragg, California. The public hearing will concern the following item:

PROJECT: LCP Amendment to update the Coastal Land Use and Development Code to include regulations (already added to the Inland Zoning Code) for Cannabis Businesses (17.52.055
17.52.057, 17.42.057), Vacation Rentals (17.42.190) and Formula Business (17.42.075), and to revise regulations for Animal Keeping (17.42.040), Telecommunications Facilities (17.44), Density Bonus and Affordable Housing Incentives (17.31), Inclusionary Housing Requirements (17.32), Signs (17.83), Landscaping (17.43), Residential Accessory Uses and Structures (17.42.160), and Definitions (17.100).

ENVIRONMENTAL
DETERMINATION: This project is statutorily exempt from CEQA per § 15265 (c) Local Coastal Programs.
Public Comment regarding this Public Meeting may be made in any of the following ways: (1) Emailed to [email protected] (2) Written comments delivered to City Hall, 416 N.
Franklin Street before 2:00 PM on the day of the meeting; or (3) Verbal comments made during the meeting, either in person at Town Hall or virtually using Zoom if a Zoom link is provided at the time of agenda publication. Comments received via email will be provided to the City Council and reflected in the packet. Comments will not be read verbally at the meeting. All comments received after 2:00 PM on the day of the meeting will become a permanent part of the agenda packet on the day after the meeting or as soon thereafter as possible, exempt comments are those in an unrecognized file type or too large to upload to City Agenda software.
