RESOLUTION NO. -2026
RESOLUTION OF THE FORT BRAGG CITY COUNCIL APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 2026/27-02 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026/27 WHEREAS, the City of Fort Bragg was awarded the Clean California Grant in the amount of $280,000 during Fiscal Year 2024/25; and WHEREAS, remaining unexpended grant funds were not re-allocated into the current fiscal year budget and must be incorporated to fulfill program requirements; and WHEREAS, remaining funds in the project account for the Bainbridge Park Enhancements project were not allocated into the current fiscal year budget; and WHEREAS, allocation of these remaining funds into the current fiscal year budget is necessary to process remaining project expenses; and WHEREAS, the attached Exhibit A details the proposed amendments of funds for the Clean California Grant and the Bainbridge Park Enhancements project; and WHEREAS, based on all the evidence presented, the City Council finds the adjustments to the FY 2026/27 Budget have been identified and are necessary, as shown in Exhibit A.
WHEREAS, approval of this Budget Amendment is not a project pursuant to Common Sense Exemption 15061(b)(3) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility it will have a significant effect on the environment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are made a part of this Resolution as findings.
The City Council of the City of Fort Bragg does hereby amend the previously adopted FY 2026/27 Budget to incorporate the changes enumerated in Exhibit A and authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by Councilmember ________, seconded by Councilmember ________, and passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fort Bragg held on the 14th day of September 2026, by the following vote:
