ROLL Call
The special meeting of the Fort Jones Town Council was called to order in person by Mayor Mercedes Garcia at 5:30 pm. [n addition to Mayor Mercedes Garcia, Council Members present were Kathye Banks, Julia Collie-Mason, and Alex LaRiviere (remote).
Also present: Interim Town Administrator Adam Cox, Public Works Supervisor Everett Hullquist, and Fire Chief Joseph Hess.
Mayor Garcia led the flag salute.
) PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Bill (former member) thinks that what we are doing is illegal and wants to know what is happening.
DISCUSSION/REPORTS: ACTION ITEMS:
Discussed preliminary 2023-24 preliminary budget. Town Admin Cox pointed out some areas of concern in the law enforcement and fire department budgets.
