RESOLUTION #1129
RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF FORT JONES APPOINTING CHERIE STEPHEN INTERIM TOWN
ADMINISTRATOR AND APPROVING A MONTHLY STIPEND
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Fort Jones voted to appoint Cherie Stephen Interim Town Administrator at a regular meeting held on 10 June 2024; and WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Fort Jones desires to pay Cherie Stephen a monthly stipend of $1500 in addition to her currently hourly wage; and
WHEREAS, this stipend will pay for ten hours weekly of administrative duties as described in the Town Administrators job description; and
WHEREAS, Cherie Stephen has agreed to hold this office temporarily until a permanent administrator can be hired.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Town Council of the Town of Fort Jones hereby approves a monthly stipend of $1500 to Cherie Stephen for Interim Town Administrator duties effective immediately.
