Debbie Baird from the Collier Interactive Center came to let us know that our representative for the Town of Fort Jones has resigned and we need a replacement. She also, invited everyone to come visit the center, expressed the need for volunteers, and gave a brief overview of what the center does for the cities they represent.
Tori Hall expressed that she was moving out of Fort Jones due to horrible neighbors, and her insurance threatening to cancel coverage due to the neighbors' tree. She feels council is not enforcing the ordinances.
Karen Whitehead asked where in the minutes that public comment was changed from 5 min to 3 minutes and why the public was not notified. The mayor explained that public is notified every time the public comments section is read to the public at each meeting.
