CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
The special meeting of the Fort Jones Town Council was called to order in person by Mayor Mercedes Garcia at 5:30 p.m. In addition to the mayor, councilmembers present were Mark Eayrs, Alex LaRiviere, and Julia Collie-Mason. Kathye Banks was absent.
Staff present: Cherie Stephen - Interim Town Administrator, JenniferJoy Cox - Town Clerk, Everett Hullquist - Public Works, Joseph Hess - Fire Department.

1. FEMA grant for FT Recruitment and Retention Officer for Fort Jones Fire Department and creation of new official employment position.
Public Comments: None
Discussion: Council and staff engagement, grant cannot be used to replace current position.
Motion: A. LaRiviere moves to accept FEMA grant and create new position.
