CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL:
The special meeting of the Fort Jones Town Council was called to order in person by Mayor Madeleine DeAndreis at 6:00 p.m. In addition to the mayor, councilmembers present were Michelle DeCausmaker, Mercedes Garcia, Paula Johnson, Alex LaRiviere.
Staff present: Cherie Stephen - Town Administrator and Andrew Jared - Town Legal Counsel by Zoom.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: None
ADJOURNED TO CLOSED SESSION: @6:01 pm

Public Employee Performance Evaluation, Employment (Gov. Code §54957 (b)) Title: Town Clerk
RETURN TO OPEN SESSION: @ 6:32 PM
REPORT ON CLOSED SESSION:
Gave direction to Town Administrator. No action to report.
STAFF COMMENTS:
Town Administrator Cherie Stephen states "I don't like this. This is hard for me." COUNCIL COMMENTS:
Mayor DeAndreis thanked the Administrator for keeping the town safe.
ADJOURNMENT:
The meeting was adjourned at 6:34 p.m. The next regular town council meeting is scheduled to be held on January 13th, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
