Council Member Johnson pulled Consent Items e and g, and provided comments on how great the medians have been cared for and the great job by the parks crew. He also commented on how effective the notifications to those affected by the paving that took place on Riverwalk Drive was and the project went well. Council Member Losey pulled item c, and commented on how much he appreciated the truncated version of the staff report. CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Council Member Johnson moved, Seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Trent to approve Consent Calendar items a-i. Roll Call vote. STAFF REPORT: City Manager Merritt Perry provided a staff report on submitting an Urban Greening grant. PUBLIC COMMENTS: Don Ingram, Fortuna Resident and Measure E Committee Member - commented that the parcel in question was good for hiking and wildlife. There being no additional public comments, Mayor Long closed the public comment section. CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Mayor Pro Tem Trent moved, seconded by Council Member Johnson to approve Resolution 2022-09, A Resolution Of The City Council of the City Of Fortuna Approving the Application for Grant Funds from the California Urban Greening Grant Program.
