SUBJECT: Additions to Fiscal Year 2022/23 Fee Schedule for Recreation’s Skating Program
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the additions to Fiscal Year (FY) 2022/23 Fee Schedule for the Recreation Department’s Roller Skating program.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Additional Roller Skating program fees and discounts were overlooked after the fiscal year 2022- 2023 Fee Schedule Workshop on March 17th. There were a few minor additions that the Recreation Department would like to include in the FY 22/23 fee schedule & overall budget (see attachment), in order to capture comprehensive fee schedule for that program.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The proposed additional fees will supplement revenue for the program, and the discounts for theme nights and participants bringing their own skates will generate less revenue than full-price, however the goal for these discounts is to encourage more participation at the rink, which will ultimately bring in more patrons, thus generating more revenue through higher participation numbers.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the additional FY 22/23 Fee Schedule updates to Recreation Skate Program and authorize City staff to proceed with these changes to the FY 22/23 overall budget. Consent agenda vote.
