SUBJECT: Ratify First Amendments to Agreements for At-Will-Employment of Chief of Police and City Manager, and Approve Amended Pay Rate Schedule to Reflect Changes
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Ratify First Amendments to the Agreements for At-Will Employment for City Manager Merritt Perry and Police Chief Casey Day, and approve the amended Pay Rate Schedule to Reflect Changes.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On June 21, 2022 during closed session, the City Council approved amendments to the At-Will Employment Agreements for City Manager Merritt Perry and Police Chief Casey Day. These Amendments must now be ratified during an open and public meeting of the City Council.
In addition, the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23 Pay Rate Schedule must be amended to reflect salary changes in these agreements.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Ratify First Amendments to the Agreements for At-Will-Employment for Police Chief, Casey Day and City Manager Merritt Perry, and Approve amended Pay Rate Schedule to reflect changes. Consent Agenda vote.
