SUBJECT: Police Department Monthly Report for July/August 2022 STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Receive report as an informational item.
Patrol Statistics:
During the months of July and August 2022, the Fortuna Police handled 3,221 calls for service. 113 arrests were made including 27 felony arrests and 86 misdemeanor arrests. 79 citations were issued for traffic offenses or other miscellaneous violations. Staffing:
Staffing levels were impacted during the months of July and August. The police department is approaching full staffing levels and are currently working to replace existing vacancies, which include:
• One Public Safety Dispatcher.
Employee of the Month:
The “Employee of the Month” recognition was awarded to Administrative Assistant III Kendra Bailey in July and to Code Enforcement Officer Wayne Hanson in August.
