SUBJECT: Police Department Monthly Report for October 2022 STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Receive report as an informational item.
Patrol Statistics:
During the month of October 2022, the Fortuna Police handled 1,515 calls for service. 84 arrests were made including 19 felony arrests and 65 misdemeanor arrests. 44 citations were issued for traffic offenses or other miscellaneous violations. Staffing:
Staffing levels: The police department is approaching full staffing levels and is currently working to replace existing vacancies, which include:
One Public Safety Dispatcher.
Employee of the Month:
The “Employee of the Month” for the month of October was Public Safety Dispatcher Jenika Shamp.
