Subject: Share of Cost Funding Commitment for Edible Food Recovery Program Development and Implementation
Dear Jill,
This letter serves to document our verbal agreement with Humboldt County staff regarding the City of Fortuna's participation in the above reference project. The City has set aside $11,000 of (specify) funds to be used by the County for SB 1383 Edible Food Recovery Program project being led by Humboldt County Public Works.
Humboldt County Public Works will serve as the lead for project administration and coordination, with assistance from the Fortuna City Staff. The designated County representative will be the Director of Public Works, or his designee. As tasks are completed, the County will invoice City of Fortuna for its share of cost for the completed work. The County agrees to provide detailed descriptions of work completed by consultant with each invoice. Invoices should be sent to:

In accordance with our verbal agreement, the City of Fortuna's portion of this project will not exceed the amounts listed in the attached funding summary without prior approval by the City.
The City of Fortuna will pay for actual costs incurred up to the total estimated amount. Should the City of Fortuna request specific, or extra work that falls outside the consultants work plan, the City of Fortuna will be responsible for 100% of the cost for that work."
