SUBJECT: Police Department Monthly Report for December 2022 STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Receive report as an informational item.
Patrol Statistics:
During the month of December 2022, the Fortuna Police handled 1,511 calls for service. 73 arrests were made including 17 felony arrests and 56 misdemeanor arrests. 120 citations were issued for traffic offenses or other miscellaneous violations. Staffing:
Staffing levels: The police department is approaching full staffing levels and is currently working to replace existing vacancies, which include:
One Public Safety Dispatcher (Candidate currently finishing background).
Employee of the Month:
The “Employee of the Month” for the month of December was Officer Bryce Sancho.
