SUBJECT: Police Department Monthly Report for January 2023 STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Receive report as an informational item.
Patrol Statistics:
During the month of January 2023, the Fortuna Police handled 1,486 calls for service. 76 arrests were made including 20 felony arrests and 56 misdemeanor arrests. 86 citations were issued for traffic offenses or other miscellaneous violations. Staffing:
The Police Department is attempting to fill the following vacancies:
One Public Safety Dispatcher
One Sworn Police Officer
Employee of the Month:
After receiving staff input, the “Employee of the Month” program has changed to a “Quarterly” recognition program.
