STAFF REPORT: City Attorney Ryan Plotz provided staff report on Ordinance 2024-765, Amending Chapter 8.16 of the Fortuna Municipal Code to provide for revised nuisance regulation and abatement. PUBLIC COMMENTS: There being no public comments, Mayor Trent closed the public comment section. CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Council Member Mobley moved, seconded by Council Member Losey to adopt Ordinance 2024-765, "An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Fortuna Amending Chapter 8.16 of the Fortuna Municipal Code to Provide for Revised Nuisance Regulation and Abatement and Determining the Ordinance to be Exempt From CEQA", read by title only and continue the Public Hearing to Tuesday, January 16, 2024 for the second reading.
