SUBJECT: Review and Approve Mayor’s Recommendation of Appointee to the Planning Commission and the Rohner Community Recreation and Parks District Board of Directors
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Review the applications for the Planning Commission and the Rohner Community Recreation and Parks District (RCRPD) Board, and consider approving the Mayor’s recommendation for appointment.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Planning Commission:
Two (2) of the seven seats on the Planning Commission is vacant as of December 31, 2023.
The City received one application:
Nick Burke. (new appointment)
The term of office for the Planning Commission is four (4) years.
Rohner Community Recreation and Parks District:
One (1) of the five seats on the RCRPD Board is vacant as of October 2, 2023.
The City received one application:
Cameron Mull. (new appointment)
The term of office for RCRPD Board is at the City’s discretion and has no specific limit.
RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION:
Motion to Approve Mayors recommendation for appointee to the Planning Commission and the RCRPD Board. Consent Calendar vote.
