SUBJECT: Supplemental Budget Request for the Addition of 50 Chairs for Park Facilities STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Approve a Supplemental Budget Request (SBR) and authorize City staff to approve SBR for the purchase of 50 chairs.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Currently, the parks crew is transporting chairs from one facility to another to cover rentals and city sponsored events. River Lodge chairs are being used for break camps and are deteriorating due to the harsh use. A significant amount of staff time is being used to transport chairs.
This is the first year that we have had Hot Shot Sponsors and we brought in an additional $5,100 to the program. 120 chairs are used for seating of the Hot Shot program. Funds from the Hot Shot Sponsors to cover the cost of 50 chairs. The cost for the chairs will be $1,300, FISCAL IMPACT:
The cost of the 50 chairs will cost $1300. The cost will be more than covered by the revenue that was recognized by the Hot Shots sponsorships above what was budgeted.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve a Supplemental Budget Request (SBR) and authorize City staff to approve SBR for the purchase of 50 chairs by Consent Agenda Vote.
