SUBJECT: Approval of the Full Time Classification and Pay Rate Schedule for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Resolution 2024-20
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Approve the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Classification and Pay Rate Schedule for full time employees by adopting Resolution 2024-20.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City completed negotiations with the Fortuna Employees Association (FEA). The bargaining unit and the City, agreed to an individual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) consisting of a one year term (July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025).
The FEA’s MOU provided a 2% COLA to be effective July 1, 2024. This cost is appropriated into the FY 2024-25 budget and included in the attached pay rate schedule.
The City’s Unrepresented group resolution provided for a 3% COLA to be effective July 1, 2024.
This cost is appropriated into the FY 2024-25 budget and included in the attached pay rate schedule.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The fiscal impacts associated with the full time classification and pay schedule were incorporated into the FY 2024-25 Adopted Budget.
RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION:
Motion to adopt Resolution 2024-20; and read by title only. Consent agenda vote.
