STAFF REPORT: Community Development Director, Shari Meads, presented a staff report on the second reading and adoption of Ordinance 2024-769, Reasonable Accommodations Policy and Procedures. PUBLIC COMMENT: There being no comments from the public, Mayor Johnson closed the public comment section. CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Mayor Pro Tem Trent moved, seconded by Council Member Conley to hold the second reading and adopt Ordinance 2024-769 "An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Fortuna to amend Fortuna Municipal Code Title 17 (zoning regulations) to add Chapter 17.10, Reasonable Accommodations Policy And Procedures, and find the Amendment to be exempt from additional California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) review under CEQA Guidelines Sections 15162 and 15061(b)3". CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Mayor Pro Tem Trent moved, seconded by Council Member Conley to introduce and conduct the first reading of amendments to Ordinance 2024-770 "An Ordinance Of The City Council Of The City Of Fortuna, California Amending Title 8 – Health and Safety Of The Fortuna Municipal Code By Revising Chapter 8.14– Organic Reduction and Recycling Ordinance" and continue the public hearing to January 21, 2025.
