Effective the pay period beginning December 14, 2025 and paid on January 2, 2026 and after adoption of this Side Letter by City Council, Officer and Sergeant employees shall receive a nine percent (9%) base salary increase.
Effective the second pay period in December 2026, Officer employees shall receive a nine (9%) base salary increase, and Sergeant employees shall receive a six percent (6%) base salary increase.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total annual cost of these wage increases for the first year is $198,243. This will be partially offset by a payment to CalPERS in the amount of $1,500,000 using funds in the General Reserve.
