STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Receive report as an informational item.
Patrol Statistics:
• 1,235 Calls for Service
• 398 Officer Initiated
• 114 Case Investigations
• 50 Misdemeanor Arrests
• 9 Felony Arrests
• 208 Traffic Stops
• 50 Citations Issued

Staffing:
• Recruitment Update: One recruit trainee applicant was unable to successfully complete the hiring process. The department is actively recruiting for three vacant sworn officer positions. One part-time community services officer continues to progress through the background/hiring process.
Enforcement/Community Engagement:
• Fortuna Police Department was able to secure crucial equipment for the K9 Program through significant donations. Thank you to Fortuna Police Employees Foundation, Fortuna Rotary, Redwood Capitol Bank, George’s Glass, Wyckoff’s Plumbing and Hummel Tire.
• SRO, Lieutenant and a Sergeant assisted Fortuna High School in serving students their Thanksgiving feast at school, visiting and interacting with students and staff. • Police Employees working the holidays are grateful to our community for the Thanks giving treats provided to those working through the holiday.
