SUBJECT: Approve the Amended Part Time Classification and Pay Rate Schedule for Fiscal Year 2025-2026; Resolution 2025-29
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Adopt the amended Part Time Classification and Pay Rate Schedule to accommodate the change in minimum wage beginning January 1, 2026.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Minimum wage will be increasing to $16.90/hour on January 1, 2026. Attached to the staff report, you will find the draft part-time pay rate schedule reflecting the recommended option. If approved by Council, it will become “Attachment A” to Resolution 2025-29.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Finance Director has confirmed that all fiscal impacts associated with the recommended option for the amended Part Time Classification and Pay Rate Schedules are included in the adopted budget and requires no further appropriations.
RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION:
Approve Resolution 2025-29. Consent Agenda vote.
