SUBJECT: Review and Approve Mayor’s Recommendation of Appointee to the Historical Commission and Park Commission
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Review the applications for the Historical Commission and Park Commission and consider approving the Mayor’s recommendation for appointments.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Historical Commission:
One (1) of the five (5) seats on the Historical Commission is vacant.
The City received one application:
• Noah Kiani (new appointment)
The terms of office for the Historical Commission are three (3) year terms and if approved Noah Kiani’s appointment will expire on December 31, 2028.
Park Commission:
One (1) of the five (5) seats on the Park Commission is vacant.
The City received one application:
• Polly Kinsinger (new appointment)
The terms of office for the Park Commission are three (3) year terms and if approved Polly Kinsinger’s appointment will expire on December 31, 2028.
RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION:
Motion to Approve Mayors’ Appointments for the Historical Commission and Park Commission.
Consent Agenda vote.
