SUBJECT: Review and Approve Mayor’s Recommendation of Appointee to the Park Commission
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Review the applications for the Park Commission and consider approving the Mayor’s recommendation for appointments.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Park Commission:
One (1) of the five (5) seats on the Park Commission is vacant.
The City received one application:
• Jim Rizza (new appointment)
The terms of office for the Park Commission are three (3) year terms, but this term will be finishing out the term of a commissioner who has resigned from the commission (term 2024-2027). If approved Jim Rizza’s appointment will expire on December 31, 2027.
RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION:
Motion to Approve Mayors’ Appointments for the Park Commission. Consent Agenda vote.
