Recreation
▪ During the month of January, we launched the first practice sessions of the Hot Shots program. Sessions were held every Saturday at Firemen’s Pavilion from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The program has a total of 239 registered participants across 29 teams. ▪ Although we lost Saturday public skate and private party rental time while Hot Shots was in session, overall skate participation still exceeded January 2025 numbers and showed an increase compared to the previous month.
▪ Three new employees were hired to primarily support HotShots. Their experience working with youth, along with their sports officiating expertise, has brought significant value to the Hot Shots program.
▪ Registration opened for Presidents Week Break Camp, which will take place February 17–20.
▪ Year-Round Recreation Programs (Firemen’s Pavilion) Schedules:
• Drop-in Pickleball: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings, 9:00am – 12:00pm; Sunday and Tuesday evenings, 7:00pm-9:00pm.
