1. Exhibit 1: Detailed Scope of Work
PURPOSE:
To implement the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP) SCADA and Operational Technology (OT) system upgrades based on the final design completed in May 2026.
BACKGROUND
Design of the upgrades was previously included in the scope of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Compliance Project, however, the SCADA system was identified as an urgent need for replacement and improvement due to its age and lack of resiliency. Failure of the SCADA system could leave operations without supervisory control of the plant for an extended period of time. The control system upgrade has been broken out as a separate standalone effort so that the work can be completed more quickly than would be possible via the NPDES Compliance Project. With this modified approach, the improvements associated with the NPDES Compliance project can be constructed to interface with an already-upgraded control system.
The project execution involves 3 major steps, as outlined below:
• Phase 1 – Concept Definition (work described in previous amendment) • Phase 2 – Final Design (work described in previous amendment) • Phase 3 – Implementation Support (WORK DESCRIBED IN THIS AMENDMENT) Concept definition and final design are both complete (December 2025 and May 2026, respectively).
This amendment is for PHASE 3, implementation support for the designed improvements, including engineering services during construction and SCADA software programming. Implementation will be based on the final design package completed as part of phase 2.
APPROACH
The engineering design is complete (previous work by Jacobs). All field construction will be performed by an electrical contractor procured directly by the City. The City will prepare any required bid package and select the construction contractor. The City will directly contract the electrician for construction based on qualifications and best value, as determined by the City’s project manager. Jacobs will guide the contractor’s field work based on the technical design package (100% design package from May 2026). The project will require significant participation by City staff, including attendance at multiple workshops, review of design and software products, and support during field implementation.
The new SCADA platforms will use Allen-Bradley PLCs and Inductive Automation Ignition HMI. All SCADA software configuration will be implemented using Jacobs’ SCADA software standards, including AllenBradley PLC add-on-instructions (AOIs) and Ignition HMI graphical objects. All OT systems will be configured using Jacobs’ standards.
Major project responsibilities are summarized below:
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 4
• Jacobs’ responsibilities:
o Engineering design for the SCADA upgrade (COMPLETED)
o SCADA software programming and field testing
o OT system configuration and deployment
o Major equipment supply
• City responsibilities:

i. Construction Kickoff Meeting
Jacobs will lead a MS Teams kickoff meeting (up to 2 hours duration) with the construction contractor and City staff. Jacobs participation will include 4
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 5
attendees. The intention of this effort is to coordinate the project construction requirements with the City’s selected installation contractor. The meeting will review the project scope, discuss the anticipated sequence of work and construction constraints, and explain the required coordination with Jacobs’ SCADA and OT delivery teams.
ii. Pre-Construction Site Walk
Jacobs will lead a one-day pre-construction site walk at the plant (one Jacobs participant). The intention of this effort is to discuss the project with contractor and tour the facilities to explain the work to be performed. The level of effort estimate includes up to 8 hours onsite, plus travel to and from the site. iii. Construction Coordination Meetings with Contractor:
Jacobs will lead up to 12 one-hour MS Teams meetings (up to 1 hour) to coordinate construction topics. The intention of this effort is to discuss progress, issues, and needs with the City’s selected installation contractor. The level of effort includes regular participation by the project manager and I&C / SCADA delivery leads. It also includes 4-hour allowances for the SCADA software delivery and OT leads to allow for minor participation. iv. PLC Cutover Planning Meetings:
Jacobs will lead up to 7 one-hour MS Teams meetings (1 meeting for each panel to be upgraded) to coordinate, plan, and schedule cutovers to the new PLC platforms. These meetings are anticipated to be held approximately 4 weeks in advance of each PLC cutover and are intended to discuss the upgrade concept and need for any preparation related to the work, especially as it relates to O&M impacts.
v. PLC Cutover Readiness Meetings:
Jacobs will lead up to 7 one-hour MS Teams meetings (1 meeting for each panel to be upgraded) the week prior to each PLC cutover to coordinate with City O&M staff and Jacobs’ programmers to be sure the teams are ready for the next week’s field effort.
b. Submittal Reviews and Clarifications
Jacobs will provide up to 40 hours of staff labor for review of the contractor fiber optic submittals and providing responses to contractor questions. The scope of work assumes limited review of contractor submittals will be required because most of the major project materials will purchased by Jacobs as described herein. c. Allowance for Design Changes (DCNs and Addenda)
Jacobs will provide up to 120 hours of labor for preparation of design change notices (DCNs) and/or addenda that may be identified during project delivery. Major topics known at the time of scope preparation include:
• New network rack at operations building MCC room, including preparation of heat load calculations for the new OT hardware to be installed at the network rack
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 6
• Potential fiber routing modifications based on pathway validation by City’s electrician
d. Site Observation During Construction
Jacobs will provide up to 140 hours of onsite representation from Jacobs’ Yakima-based project representative. The estimate is based on the following:
• Onsite for PLC Replacements: Up to 16 hours onsite for each of 5 PLC panels to be upgraded (80 hours total) plus $2,500 of travel expenses for each of 5 trips. • Onsite for Cleanup of Existing Panel Wiring: Allowance of up to 60 hours onsite to coordinate with the contractor during troubleshooting and / or demolishing of existing wiring. Includes $2,500 of travel expenses for each of 2 trips. • Travel Labor Allowance: Up to 16 hours of travel labor for each site visit (up to 7 separate site visits maximum).
e. Additional Allowance for Implementation Planning Support Task 3a in a previous amendment included a 24-hour labor allowance for initial project implementation planning associated with the design. The allowance was expended during the design effort and task 3a is complete, but additional implementation planning support is required with the City and Contractor during implementation.
This task includes a new 80-hour labor allowance for implementation planning. Example topics may include, but are not limited to:
• PLC cutover sequencing (a well-though plan is required because the new network must be built in segments due to existing raceway constraints) • Temporary gateway PLC (required for maintaining communication between the Allen-Bradley and Modicon PLCs while systems are on both new and old networks and platforms)
• Project implementation scheduling
Deliverables
• Meeting notes
• Submittal review comments
• Responses to contractor questions
• Design change notices / addenda
Assumptions
• The construction contractor will be contracted by the City. Jacobs will guide the contractor’s work based on the 100% design technical package issued for construction.
Only a few minor submittals or contractor questions warranting formal written responses are anticipated during construction. The project is not big enough to warrant use of a formal submittal tracking system, so the scope of work does not include labor
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 7
effort by a design manager or submittal administrator to track or log submittals and/or review comments.
• The allowance for DCSs is anticipated to cover known topics at time of scope preparation. Any additional DCNs required can be funded using owner-managed contingency.
8. Construction Detailed Design
Jacobs will prepare the following construction detail to support construction and/or long-term system O&M:
a. Network Patching Drawings
Jacobs will produce detailed network patching drawings for the copper (CAT-6) and fiber cabling associated with the new core SCADA and DMZ hardware components located the new WWTP network rack. The drawings will be used to guide labeling, termination, and patching by the installation contractor and Jacobs’ staff. This task does not include work associated with the plant’s business network or any other networks.
The level of effort for production of network patching drawings is based on a maximum quantity of 20 drawings. The level of effort assumes 2.4 hours of labor per drawing for production. Connectivity concepts will be based on the final stamped network block diagram drawings.

Note that budget for supply of the software licenses and Logix Echo subscription is included under a separate “material procurement” task in this amendment. c. Onsite SCADA Software Field Testing
Following the PLC hardware replacement at each plant facility by the City’s contractor, Jacobs will re-test the SCADA software functions in the field with actual field equipment.
The estimated level of effort is based on the following:
1) Initial Onsite System Setup for Startup Preparation
Jacobs will provide 1 person at the project site (up to 32 hours onsite plus travel allowance) to perform the initial onsite setup, including establishing connectivity between the WWTP Ignition system and the remote stations PLCs and configuring WIN-911 software alarm dialer.
2) SCADA Software Field Testing for WWTP Processes
Jacobs will provide 1 person at the project site to perform SCADA software site acceptance testing and loop tuning. The level of effort is based on an 80-hour average allowance (including travel) for each of 7 I/O racks to be upgraded. 3) SCADA Software Field Testing for Remote Station Monitoring Jacobs will provide 1 person onsite for up to 152 hours of field testing the new graphical features associated with the existing Tesco PLC system. The level of effort is based on an average of 8 hours of testing per remote station (19 remote stations total) and assumes the City will provide staff to operate field equipment to test the new graphical functions.
4) Allowance for Temporary Gateway PLC Programming
Jacobs will provide up to 60 hours of labor for configuration of temporary programming to transfer data that is critical for process control between legacy and new PLCs during the migration to the new platforms and network.
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 11
5) Operator Training
Jacobs will provide up to 60 hours of labor to prepare operators for management of the system throughout the migration to the new platform (when the system is split between new and existing HMIs) and to train operators how to use the new SCADA graphics to operate the processes.
The estimated level of effort for SCADA software field testing assumes City O&M staff will be available to operate field equipment allowing Jacobs to test the software functions. d. Other Related Work
Jacobs will perform the following additional SCADA-related tasks:
1) Allowance for Configuration of Automated Reports
Jacobs will provide up to 80 hours of labor to assist City staff with configuration of automated reports using data from the new SCADA historian. The scope of work assumes this work will be performed remotely using a secure remote access connection.
2) VM of Existing Intouch Historian
Jacobs will provide up to 40 hours of onsite labor to create a new virtual machine (VM) of the existing Wonderware historian. The approach assumes the City will use existing Wonderware tools to access historical data from the old Wonderware historian virtual machine when and if needed.
3) Kepware and AssetCentre Setup and Configuration
Jacobs will provide up to 40 hours of onsite labor to install and configure the software.
e. Software-Related Documentation for Record (Turn-Over Package) Jacobs will provide SCADA software-related documentation for the new system. The content will include:

• New automated reports
• Virtual Machine copy of the plant’s existing Wonderware Historian • Software related documentation for record, including final commissioning database, including record of final SCADA software factory and field test completion
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 12
Assumptions
• There is significant uncertainty about the remote station monitoring and control system, including the Tesco “master” PLC located at the WWTP. As of 8/31/26, Jacobs’ I&C designer is still investigating the system with City O&M staff. Some of the system is monitored and controlled by a “Tesco” PLC located at the WWTP that was installed and maintained by a local integrator (Tesco), but the company was acquired in recent years and many of the legacy staff have departed leaving little information about the system functionality. The scope of work includes allowances for configuration of new graphics and field testing. The cost of this work could be impacted depending upon the findings (if we can’t get programming software to investigate the system functions, for example).
The basis of the scope assumes we can learn about the new graphics functional requirements by investigating and replicating the existing Wonderware Intouch HMI.
The scope of work is limited to replacement of the existing graphical functions and does not include any work related to the existing Tesco PLC. • For software planning:
o Work related to definition of the SCADA software programming approaches (software standards), assignment of software tags, and development of software functional loop descriptions was included in previous scope, so is not addressed in this amendment.
• For SCADA software programming:
o City staff will provide review and approval of final loop descriptions in workshops (addressed in previous scope of work) prior to commencement of programming. Changes to software functions after City acceptance of loop descriptions will constitute a change warranting additional compensation. The project approach is intended to provide review and input by City staff to minimize the potential for re-work after the programming effort has begun. o Jacobs’ scope of work is limited to programming of the SCADA software, including PLC, HMI, historian, and alarm dialer. All other device and software configuration will be provided by the installation contractor, including instrument calibration, VFD configuration (brake horsepower, ramp time, etc.), and Ethernet communication configuration for all field devices that are to be monitored or controlled by the SCADA system.
• For field testing:
o Plant operations can manually operate and monitor plant processes to accommodate electrical work and SCADA software testing, which will interrupt automated monitoring and control for extended periods of time. o During cutovers, the electrician and Jacobs staff will be permitted to continue work outside of City’s normal work hours to minimize system downtime after work has started. Jacobs’ potential after-hours work includes onsite software testing and loop tuning.
o For testing new HMI graphics associated with the offsite facilities:
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 13
▪ Jacobs assumes City staff will assist with operation of field equipment to confirm that the new functions perform as expected.
▪ The City will provide copies of the existing Tesco PLC programs and a license for the programming software.
▪ The basis of the budget is an allowance based on assumptions. • Jacobs will use the commissioning database to document the final loop descriptions and log completion of the SCADA software factory and field testing efforts. • Changes after City acceptance of deliverables will constitute a change warranting additional compensation. Examples include, but are not limited to, software delivery concepts (standards), loop descriptions, draft graphics, witnessed SCADA software factory tests, and field tests.
• For Software-Related Documentation for Record (Turnover Package):
o Content for passwords will not be included (to minimize cybersecurity risk). o Content for OT systems will be covered separately under Task 4. o The scope of work does not include printed copies of PLC programs or SCADA HMI graphics.
o The scope of work does not include production of any standard operating procedures (SOPs).
o Production of a bill of material (BOM) is not included because the BOMs are included in the drawings.
10. OT Services
Jacobs will provide configuration and deployment services for the new WWTP core OT infrastructure. The OT material (to be procured by Jacobs under separate task in this amendment) will be shipped to Jacobs’ lab for configuration and factory testing by Jacobs’ staff. Following configuration and factory testing, the equipment will be sent to the project site for installation and field testing (deployment). Major efforts are identified below:
a. OT Logical Design
NO NEW SCOPE INCLUDED IN THIS AMENDMENT. Scope for this effort was included in Task 3 of a previous SCADA-related amendment.
b. OT Configuration and Factory Testing (at Jacobs’ Lab) Jacobs will configure and factory test the OT systems in a laboratory environment at Jacobs’ Denver office prior to deployment to the project site. Major work includes:
• Receiving and inventorying the materials.
• Unboxing and setting up equipment in the Jacobs’ OT lab, including temporary power and network connectivity.
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 14
• Configuring OT components for the SCADA network, including loading operating systems, installing software, spinning up virtual machines on the server hosts, and configuring firewalls and switches.
• Quality checking and unwitnessed factory testing of the OT systems. • Packaging all materials at Jacobs’ configuration lab for delivery to the project site.
The scope and budget assume that work will be performed by Denver-based OT staff in the Denver SCADA laboratory.
c. OT System Field Deployment

Major deliverables include final IP address list, VLAN summary, and OT system functional descriptions for system failover, backups, and secure remote access. Any simple graphical content will be generated using Bluebeam or Visio (Jacobs has not included labor for CAD production of any deliverables). The deliverable content and format will be based on documents produced by Jacobs for other clients but customized for the deployment at Fortuna.
e. Allowance for OT System Post-Deployment Support
Jacobs will provide up to 272 hours of support for the SCADA team following field deployment of the OT systems. The allowance is based on the following assumptions:
• An allowance of 192 hours for remote system maintenance based on 16 hours per month for 1 year (12 months). This activity is intended to perform regular system functional checks and implementation of critical patches and updates. • An allowance of up to 40 hours of labor + travel expenses for (1) site trip to perform onsite maintenance and critical updates.
• An allowance of up to 40 hours of remote OT support to Jacobs’ SCADA software delivery team during SCADA software programming, factory testing, and field testing.
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 15

• Jacobs’ scope for SCADA network patching is limited to implementing patches for SCADA system components within SCADA enclosures. All other network cable terminations and patching will be implemented by the installation contractor. All network patching will be based on the network patching drawings developed by Jacobs under separate scope.
11. Material Procurement Support
Jacobs will procure the following SCADA-related material on the City’s behalf to enable access to Jacobs’ discounted pricing (where available) and relieve City staff of the procurement labor effort burden:
• SCADA software. Material to be supplied by Jacobs is shown in the SCADA SOFTWARE LIST contained in the 100% final technical package.
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 16
• PLC Hardware. Material to be supplied by Jacobs is shown in the PLC HARDWARE EQUIPMENT LIST contained in the 100% final technical package. • OT Hardware and OT Software. Material to be supplied by Jacobs is shown as PROVIDED BY JACOBS in the MAJOR EQUIPMENT LIST contained in the 100% final technical package.
• Patch cords. The budget includes an allowance for patch cords that Jacobs will use to patch the major OT core hardware components within the new server rack at the WWTP.
The City will own all material and maintain responsibility for warranty, support, and replacement.
Jacobs can provide support for coordinating warranty topics, if desired and requested by the City.
The labor budget is an allowance for Jacobs’ work to coordinate and obtain quotations, place orders via purchase order or procurement credit card, track material inventory, and approve invoices. The material budget includes allowances for direct material costs for the assumed material shown in the 100% final technical package as noted above, shipping (calculated as a percentage of the hardware cost), escalation, California state sales tax (estimated at 8.7% of direct material cost budget), and a contingency to provide some coverage for potentially missing items at time of estimate. The direct cost budgets are based on actual quotations for the material or estimates based on recent purchases. A significant portion of the escalation allowance is for potential OT hardware cost increases due to a global memory chip shortage, based on input from suppliers. The remainder of the escalation allowance is for more traditional material cost increases that occur each year but not on any particular fixed schedule.
Jacobs will arrange for material to be shipped to Jacobs’ laboratory for configuration and factory testing.

Drawing content will use updated photographs for panels similar to the approach used in the design.
2)PLC I/O Wiring Drawings
Jacobs will provide CAD updates to the PLC I/O wiring drawings based on red-line markups from the field installation contractor and/or Jacobs’ onsite project representative. The labor effort estimate is based on 1.5 hours per drawing and assumes a maximum of 173 drawings.
3)Network Patching Drawings
Jacobs will provide CAD updates to the network patching drawings based on red-line markups from the field installation contractor and/or Jacobs’ onsite project representative. The labor effort estimate is based on 1.5 hours per drawing and assumes a maximum of 23 drawings.
4)Network Rack Layout Drawing
Jacobs will provide CAD updates to the network rack layout drawing based on redline markups from the field installation contractor and/or Jacobs’ onsite project representative. The labor effort estimate is based on 8 hours for the drawing. b. New PLC Panel Drawing Sets
Jacobs will produce new drawings to document the upgraded PLC panels. The City does not currently have good documentation for the PLC panels. The documentation approaches are
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 18
generally based on those identified in the basis of design report (BODR). The scope of work includes the following:
• New Drawings to Be Produced Under this Scope:
o Drawing Index Sheets - (1) new drawing for each PLC processor upgraded on the project (5 total).
o External Elevation Drawings - (1) new drawing for each PLC panel upgraded on the project (7 total). The drawing content will be a photograph of the panel at the conclusion of the SCADA upgrade construction with bill of material to identify the major components on the face of the panel. o Internal Elevation Drawings - (1) new drawing for each PLC panel upgraded on the project (7 total). The drawing content will be a photograph of the panel at the conclusion of the SCADA upgrade construction with bill of material to identify the major components inside the panel. The bill of material will not identify the manufacturer / model of the components but will identify the major component so location can be understood by a user. o Power Wiring Drawings – (2) new drawings – one for 120VAC power distribution and one for 24VDC power distribution – for each PLC panel upgraded on the project (7 panels = 14 drawings total). o PLC Rack Layout Drawings – (1) new drawing for each PLC panel upgrade on the project (7 total). The drawing will identify the modules in each rack’s slot by part number so a reader understands how the modules are arranged in the PLC racks and where spare slots are available.
• Existing Drawing to Be Incorporated Into the Sets:
o PLC I/O Wiring Drawings – No work is required for this topic, but the drawings produced by Jacobs under previous scope will be packaged with the panel sets for organization, management, and usage for operation and maintenance.
The level of effort is based on 12 hours of labor for production of the new drawings (40 drawings total per above), up to 80 hours of field investigation to identify and document the power wiring for each panel, 20 hours for task oversight and QC, and 20 hours for assembly of the final packages including incorporation of the PLC I/O wiring drawings into the sets. c. Written Documentation and Standards
Jacobs will produce the following written documents to help users navigate the existing system throughout its life:
1)SCADA Operations Guide
Jacobs will produce a SCADA operations guide for use by City O&M staff. The operations guide is intended to help operators understand how to use the SCADA graphics to operate the system. The operations guide will be similar in content and format to those provided by Jacobs for other clients. Each chapter will include a table of contents, table of figures, relevant screenshots, detailed description of
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 19
Remote Manual and Remote Auto functionality and formulas for any control calculations (e.g. dosing). The operations guide will include the following chapters:
• General SCADA, including navigation, popups, alarms, and AssetCentre • (5) chapters (one for each major PLC to be upgraded on this project) for major plant processes, including Administration Building PLC-L1, Operations Building PLC-L2, Headworks PLC-L3, Digester PLC-S1, and Compost Facility PLC-S2.
• (1) Chapter for Miscellaneous Systems, including panel status, fire alarms, and intrusion
• (1) Chapter for Maintenance, including power monitoring, PLC status, and server status
The level of effort for the Duff WTP SCADA operations guide is based on:
• 30 hours of effort for each major process area (5 total). • A 24-hour allowance for generation of the general, miscellaneous, and maintenance chapters.
2)SCADA Software Standards
Jacobs will produce written SCADA software standards to help future integrators understand the City’s software delivery approaches so they can maintain uniformity and standardization in the SCADA software as the plant is expanded and modified.
The written SCADA software standards will be based on Jacobs’ standard approaches and will include the following major sections:
• PLC Tagging and Programming Standards
• HMI Style Guide
• Alarm Management Guide
The project approach assumes that Jacobs’ technical staff will simply apply minor updates to Jacobs’ existing written SCADA software standards to produce a final product for Fortuna.
Deliverables
Jacobs will provide one electronic PDF copy of each deliverable identified below via email. Native document copies will be provided with the final deliverables. No hard copies will be provided. • Updated record drawings for the following:
o Technical design package
o PLC I/O Wiring Drawings
o Network Patching Drawings
o Network Rack Layout Drawings
• New PLC Panel Drawing Sets
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 20
• SCADA Operations Guide
• SCADA Software Standards
Assumptions
• For Record Drawing Updates:
o Format and content of final record drawings will be based on the format and content of the original drawings, simply updated with changes to reflect the final installation.
• For New PLC Panel Drawings:
o Elevation drawings will use photographs with notes to identify the major panel components.
o The level of effort for panel power wiring drawings includes an allowance for field investigation because the City does not have good documentation of the existing wiring.
• For SCADA Operations Guide
o The document is not intended to be a complete operation and maintenance (O&M) manual, because topics related to manual operation, taking processes offline, and system lubrication and maintenance (as examples) are not included.
Instead, the document is intended help new operators understand how to use the new SCADA HMI graphics for system monitoring and control. o The SCADA operations guides will not be as detailed as the written loop descriptions that are used as programming instructions and will not describe functions that are external to the SCADA system.
• For SCADA Software Standards
o The level of effort assumes the software delivery will be based on Jacobs’ standards with no changes, which requires only minor updates to SCADA software standards that have been previously prepared by Jacobs.
13. Additional Funding for SCADA Phase 2 Final Design Amendment Tasks Jacobs will provide additional work related to Tasks defined in previous amendments as outlined below:
a. Add Funding for Task 5 I/O Wiring Diagram Production Jacobs will perform the following additional work associated with Task 5 for Production of PLC I/O Wiring Diagrams (part of a previous amendment):
• Modify the I/O wiring diagram template format to accommodate the City-approved change from CompactLogix to ControlLogix PLC platform for PLC-L1, PLC-L2, PLC-L3, PLCS1, and PLC-S2 Rack 0 only. Note that this change does NOT apply to PLC-S2 remote I/O racks 1 or 2 (associated with the belt filter press and gravity belt respectively). Refer to Change Log item 1 (Upgrade to ControlLogix Platform for Modicon PLC Replacements) dated 5/6/26.
Jacobs Engineering Inc. 21
• Add termination number detail to PLC I/O wiring drawings for existing panels 700LCP001, 800LCP001, and 950LCP001 based on existing system information provided by the City. The work was approved by the City on 5/6/26 to add detail that would be helpful for long-term system O&M. Refer to Change Log item 3 (Add Field Termination Numbers to I/O Wiring Drawings for PLCs 3, 4 Rack 0, and 5) dated 5/6/26. Adding funding for this task will avoid usage of the owner-managed contingency, leaving it fully funded to accommodate future changes.
This task does not change the scope for originally-defined Task 5 but adds funding for the new items identified in the bullets above.
b. Add Funding for Additional Design
Jacobs provided additional design and task management to navigate change and investigate options for new features or project additions. Major efforts included:
• Change project approach from use of CompactLogix to use of ControlLogix platform at 5 panels to minimize potential problems in the existing wiring systems during construction, when downtime would be impactful to operations. • Evaluation of the proposed pathway for new fiber optic cable to create a network ring using existing raceways. This effort included preparation of material to guide work by a City-contracted electrician for investigation of the pathway. • Significant coordination with the NPDES project team for scope split and coordination of work, including development of a concept to extend the proposed plant ring to incorporate the new NPDES facilities.
• Investigation of options for location of the new server rack.
Refer to the change log for tracking and accounting of the above topics. This scope item is to recover cost associated with the effort expended during final design. Note that this item adds funding for existing Task 1 (task management), but that no additional funding is required for Task 2 (final design) because Jacobs was able to accommodate the design team’s effort within the final design budget.
Any design changes resulting from the work described above is anticipated to be captured in a new design change notice scoped under a separate task in this amendment.
Deliverables
• PLC I/O Wiring Drawings as defined for Task 5 (per previous amendment) Assumptions
• This work is complete, but adds funding to budgets established in earlier amendments, allowing change to be accommodated from the originally anticipated scope of work.
