MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER OF CITY COUNCIL/ EMID BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The duly called and noticed special meeting of the City Council of the City of Foster City (City), sitting as said Council and as ex officio the Board of Directors of the Estero Municipal Improvement District (EMID) of January 12, 2022 was called to order at 8:00 a.m. by Mayor/President Richa Awasthi.
ROLL CALL
The Communications Director/City Clerk/Recording Secretary called the roll:
PRESENT: Councilmembers/ex officio Directors Jon Froomin, Sanjay Gehani, Sam Hindi, Patrick Sullivan, and Mayor/President Richa Awasthi.
ABSENT: None.

CONSENT CALENDAR
Motion by Councilmember/Director Gehani, seconded by Councilmember/Director Sullivan, and carried unanimously by roll call vote, 5-0-0, approving the following items on the City/District Consent Calendar:
City/EMID Consent Calendar
1. Minute Order No. 1824, “By Minute Order, Approve Foster City Council Liaisons List, Dated January 12, 2022;” and
2. Minute Order No. 1825, “By Minute Order, Reconfirm and Adopt Mission & Vision and Strategic Priorities for 2022.”
STUDY SESSION
Mayor/President Awasthi recessed the meeting into study session for City Council Vision and Policy Summit at 8:00 a.m.
RECESS. The Mayor/President recessed the meeting from 9:23 a.m. to 9:35 a.m. and 12:02 p.m. to 12:37 p.m.
Meeting reconvened at 2:35 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
Hearing no objection from the City Council/EMID Board, Mayor/President Awasthi adjourned the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 2:35 p.m.
