NOTICE OF COMPLETION
LEVEE PROTECTION PLANNING AND IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (CIP 327-657)
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Shimmick Construction Company, Inc. entered into a contract dated the 20 th day of July 2020 for the construction of certain improvements in the City of Foster City, situated in San Mateo County, California.
Said construction is known as the Levee Protection Planning and Improvements Project (CIP 327-657) and consists of improvements to the City’s existing levee system to provide flood protection in accordance with updated Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) guidelines, retain FEMA accreditation, and protect against future sea level rise.
That said work is located in the City of Foster City, situated in San Mateo County, California, and was completed on the 23rd day of February 2024.
That acceptance of said work was ordered by resolution of the City of Foster City adopted on the 6th day of May 2024.
That the name and bond number of the surety of the contractor's bonds for Construction Performance and Labor and Materials on said project are as follows:
•Construction Performance Bond No. K13556830, 024244185, 9344776, 47-SUR- 300044-01-0035, and 72BCSIE9312 from Federal Insurance Company, Zurich American Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Hartford Fire Insurance Company, and Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company. •Labor and Material Bond No. K13556830, 024244185, 9344776, 47-SUR- 300044-01-0035, and 72BCSIE9312 from Federal Insurance Company, Zurich, American Insurance Company, Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, Hartford Fire Insurance Company, and Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company That said work and improvements consisted of the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, and incidentals required to undertake and complete the Levee Protection Planning and Improvements Project (CIP 327-657), all in accordance with the contract documents as required by the City of Foster City and more particularly described in the agreement approved by the City Council of the City of Foster City pursuant to City Resolution No. 2020-76 adopted on the 20 th of July 2020, subject to reservation of all City rights arising from the contract documents and further, any defective workmanship and/or materials not observed during construction being thereafter discovered and known to the City.
