A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE
REPLACEMENT OF ELECTRONIC MARQUEE DISPLAY BOARDS FOR THE
MARQUEE AT THE CORNER OF SHELL AND EAST HILLSDALE BOULEVARDS
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the marquee boards are a critically important component of providing public information; and
WHEREAS, the City has used the marquee as a means of providing public information since 1997; and
WHEREAS, the current dual display boards are in disrepair, with no further repairs possible due to lack of replacement parts; and
WHEREAS, newer display boards can provide features that include higher resolution, reliability and improved features; and
WHEREAS, the Request for Proposal has been prepared and is ready to be issued.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby authorize staff to issue a Request for Proposal for Replacement of the Marquee Display Boards for the Marquee at the corner of Shell and East Hillsdale Boulevards.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the regular meeting held on the 3rd day of June, 2024, by the following vote:
