I have enjoyed serving on CSAC for the past 2 years and being chair for 1 year. Along with the team I have engaged with the Foster City residents via tabling events at 4th of July, Summer Days and workshops. These helped provide input into the City's climate action plan and has increased the community's familiarity with CSAC.
I co-lead a fun, interactive and engaging Earth Day event and am now working on a similar event for Clean Air Day. Along with the team, I have found ways to partner with other organizations - eg Parks and Rec, Scouts and Rotary to support each others events and provide volunteer opportunity.
If appointed to another term, I would like to continue the momentum, continue engagement with residents, businesses and partner organizations and help the city implement its Climate Action Plan.
