RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH
THE PENINSULA CLEAN ENERGY AUTHORITY FOR THE RECEIPT OF GRANT FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $551,232 FOR THE RECREATION CENTER REBUILD PROJECT (CIP 301-678)
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, City staff applied for grant funding from the Peninsula Clean Energy Authority to be applied toward the Recreation Center Rebuild Project (CIP 301- 678) specifically for costs associated with the design and construction of a photovoltaic system, a LEED Silver design and construction sustainability feature in the project; and WHEREAS, staff was notified on July 31, 2024 by the Peninsula Clean Energy Authority that the City was awarded grant funding in the amount of $551,232; and WHEREAS, Peninsula Clean Energy Authority has required that a Grant Agreement be signed and returned prior to the issuance of grant funds.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City authorizes the City Manager to execute the Grant Agreement with the Peninsula Clean Energy Authority and the receipt of grant funding in the amount of $551,232 to Account No. 301-0000-369-1608.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the regular meeting held on the 16th day of September 2024, by the following vote:
