A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF FIFTEEN MEMBERS TO THE YOUTH
ADVISORY COMMITTEE
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, staff reviewed thirty seven applicants for the Youth Advisory Committee for the 2024-2025 school year; and
WHEREAS, Fifteen applicants met the minimum requirements; and WHEREAS, staff conducted interviews of all new applicants; and WHEREAS, selections were made based on the following criteria:
• Outstanding level of commitment in previous years serving on the YAC • School Representation
• Grade Representation
• Involvement in community activities
• Interview
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City Council appoint the following fifteen members to the Youth Advisory Committee: Medha Chellapilla, Jakob Gowdy, Kiana Gowdy, Aanvi Gupta, Amperly Hom, Anoushka Kashyap, Navya Kayath, Emily Liu, Emily Meng, Isha Misra, Raneem Motalib, Nolan Quan, Meilin Rife, Lian Wang, Francesca Wesley to full terms on the Youth Advisory Committee for the 2024-2025 school year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby appoint the above named applicants for the full term on the Youth Advisory Committee for the 2024-2025 school year.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the regular meeting held on the 16th day of September, 2024, by the following vote:
