RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
AUTHORIZING RECREATION CENTER SURPLUS OFFICE FURNITURE AND
EQUIPMENT DONATIONS TO LOCAL NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the Recreation Center closed to the public on September 16, 2024 to begin construction of the new facility; and
WHEREAS, all office furniture and equipment that could be utilized during the closure or saved for the new center was relocated to other City facilities; and WHEREAS, a small amount of the surplus furniture and equipment requested by other departments for City use; and
WHEREAS, a public auction of the remaining surplus items was held from September 30-October 2, 2024, authorized by the City Manager as required by City Purchasing Code; and
WHEREAS, remaining items after the auction have been determined to have little to no fair market value.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby authorize the Recreation Center Surplus Office Furniture and Equipment Donations to Local Non-Profit Organizations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the regular meeting held on the 7th day of October 2024, by the following vote:
