RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CALLS FOR
BIDS FOR MEDIAN AND EASEMENT MAINTENANCE AND FOR CUL-DE-SAC,
WALKWAYS, ISLAND BRIDGES, AND EASEMENT MAINTENANCE FROM JANUARY 1, 2025, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2027, WITH OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2029
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council last approved agreements for Median and Easement Maintenance and Cul-De-Sac, Walkways, Island Bridges, and Easement Maintenance on November 16, 2020; and
WHEREAS, the current Median and Easement Maintenance and Cul-De-Sac, Walkways, Island Bridges, and Easement Maintenance agreements expire on December 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, funding of $223,400 is available in the Parks and Recreation contractual services account for this work; and
WHEREAS, the Calls for Bids include a three-year initial term, with options for two (2) additional one-year extensions; and
WHEREAS, adoption of the Resolution will authorize issuance of Calls for Bids for Median and Easement Maintenance and Cul-De-Sac, Walkways, Island Bridges, and Easement Maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby:
1. Approve Plans and Specifications and authorize the Parks Manager to Issue a Call for Bids Median and Easement Maintenance from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027, with optional extensions through December 31, 2029; and
2. Approve Plans and Specifications and authorize the Parks Manager to Issue a Call for Bids for Cul-De-Sac, Walkways, Island Bridges, and Easement Maintenance from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2027, with optional extensions through December 31, 2029. 2 6
