I am eager to serve as a member of the City of Foster City's Audit Committee to utilize my leadership and analytical skills in service of our wonderful community. As a long-time resident of Foster City, I am deeply invested in its growth and well-being. I love this city and am passionate about contributing to its success by being an active part of the community.
Professionally, I work as a software lead at Visa, where I have extensive experience managing diverse teams, overseeing complex projects, and ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable financial payment solutions. My Strengths-Communication, Includer, Activator and Positivity-highlight my ability to collaborate effectively, bring people together, and drive impactful initiatives.
In addition to my professional expertise, I am actively involved in giving back to society through my work with a NGO. This volunteering experience has further solidified my commitment to fostering transparency, accountability, and trust-qualities I believe are integral to the work of the Audit Committee.
Joining this committee would allow me to contribute to Foster City's tinancial oversight and accountability while further strengthening the trust between the City Council and residents. It would be a privilege to bring my skills, passion, and love for Foster City to this important role.
