I hope this email finds you well! The LGBTQIA+ Commission is encouraging all cities to issue a Pride Month Proclamation and raise the Progress Pride Flag for the month of June. On that same note, we wanted to learn if Foster City will continue to create more visibility and inclusion for the LGBTQIA+ inhabitants of your community. We request the issuance of a proclamation for Pride Month and raise the Progress Pride flag in June 2025.
On our website are more resources for Pride Month such as “what is the Progress Pride Flag?” and “What is the history of Pride Month?” We also list other organizations in the County who serve the LGBTQIA+ community.

We welcome you to let us know when you will issue your Proclamation. We highly encourage you to provide this Proclamation to a Foster City nonprofit or business who is LGBTQ+ friendly. When you have your flag raising scheduled, we would also like to know when that is so we can be available to attend.
