MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER OF CITY COUNCIL AND FOSTER CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
The duly called and noticed Special Meeting of the City Council and the Planning Commission of the City of Foster City (City) sitting as said Council and Planning Commission of June 9, 2025 was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Jimenez.
Planning Commissioner Shankar Kenkre teleconferenced from 5811 Foxglove Lane, Dallas, TX 75249.
This meeting was held as a hybrid meeting.
ROLL CALL
The Deputy City Clerk called the roll:
PRESENT:
Councilmembers Art Kiesel, Suzy Niederhofer, Patrick Sullivan, Phoebe Venkat, and Mayor Stacy Jimenez.
Planning Commissioners Ravi Jagtiani, Shankar Kenkre, Robert Pedro, and Doug Stoveland.
ABSENT: Planning Commission Chair Nicolas Haddad
STAFF PRESENT:
Stefan Chatwin, City Manager; Denise Bazzano, Assistant City Attorney; Eric Phillips, Special Legal Counsel ; Marlene Subhashini, Assistant City Manager; Sofia Mangalam, Community Development Director; Rob Lasky, IT Manager; Shuli Chen, Video Technician; and Katherine Estrada, Deputy City Clerk.
NEW BUSINESS
2025 LAND USE AND HOUSING LEGISLATIVE UPDATE. NO ACTION TAKEN.
Special Legal Counsel Phillips gave a presentation on the 2025 Land Use and Housing Legislative Update.
No action was taken.
ADJOURNMENT
Hearing no objection from the City Council and Planning Commission, Mayor Jimenez adjourned the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 8:12 p.m.
