RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A SMALL GOVERNMENT ENTERPRISE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH ESRI INC. FOR A 3-YEAR TERM IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $126,600
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, City has used ESRI ArcGIS software for Geographic Information System (GIS) functions since 2016; and
WHEREAS, GIS software supports the operations of the City; and WHEREAS, the subscription to the software is a sole source, as licensing can only be purchased from the manufacturer; and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City enter a 3-year Small Government Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) with ESRI Inc. in an amount not to exceed $126,600, split into annual payments of $42,200; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Information Technology Operating Fund to cover the license of said software.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute a 3-year Small Government Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) with ESRI Inc. for the purchase of a license for Geographic Information System (GIS) software in an amount not to exceed $126,600 or $ 42,200 annually.
