A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MATEO CONSOLIDATED FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $35,101 FOR
THE CITY OF FOSTER CITY IT DIVISION TO PROVIDE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES FOR FY 2025-2026, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO SIGN EXTENSIONS OF THE AGREEMENT IN FUTURE YEARS WITHIN THE CITY MANAGER’S PURCHASING AUTHORITY
CITY OF FOSTER CITY
WHEREAS, San Mateo Consolidated Fire (SMC Fire) has the need of various IT services including support of their IT systems and IT Management functions; and WHEREAS, Foster City IT Division has the bandwidth to support SMC Fire for these functions; and
WHEREAS, this agreement will result in revenues of $35,101 to the IT Internal Services Fund that will help lower the reallocation chargebacks that the IT Division applies to the other City departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foster City does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with the San Mateo Consolidated Fire Department in the amount of $35,101 for the City of Foster City IT Division to provide Information Technology services for FY 2025-2026, and authorizing the City Manager to sign extensions of the agreement in future years within the City Manager’s Purchasing Authority.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as a resolution of the City Council of the City of Foster City at the special meeting held on the 16th day of June, 2025, by the following vote:
