Based on mutual agreement, the parties agree to amend the Agreement dated June 18th, 2024 (“Agreement” or “Contract”) pursuant to Section 17 of the Agreement to add additional services and products for specified amounts, which are identified as follows:

AMOUNT OF CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. ONE (1) $ 139,570.00
TOTAL REVISED CONTRACT AMOUNT $ 174,420.00
Additional work included in Contract Amendment No. 1:
JDH Corrosion Consultants, Inc. and the City of Foster City agree that additional services shall be added to the Scope of Work in the Agreement as described herein. JDH Corrosion Consultants, Inc. shall perform corrosion monitoring services to evaluate the rates of atmospheric corrosion, soil corrosion, and seawater corrosion on the levee sheet pile wall and develop corrosion engineering reports as described in Exhibit A of the Agreement for three additional years from the initial agreement term. JDH Corrosion Consultants shall also perform coupon replacement for the 2025/2026 fiscal year. The coupons are of the same steel as the project seawall and are utilized to measure the corrosion rate through weight loss monitoring.

JDH Corrosion Consultants, Inc., have given careful consideration to the work proposed and hereby agree, if this Contract Amendment No.1 is approved, to provide all equipment, furnish all materials except as may otherwise be noted above, and to perform all services necessary for the work above specified, and to accept as full payment therefore the prices shown above.
