Introduction

June 2025 marked the transition from subgrade foundation and utility installations to vertical progress at the Foster City Recreation Center Project. The East slab concrete placement was completed on June 26, while preparations for the West slab progressed with reinforcement and inspection activities scheduled for early July.

Waterproofing, gravel base, edge forms, and rebar for the slab areas were finalized across both wings.

Coordination also continued for mock-ups, utility backfill, and site lighting trenching. Storm drain repairs, vault waterproofing, and mechanical pad layouts contributed to key milestones. PG&E temporary power was activated, and preparation for steel erection and canopy foundations began.
